**Sale Pending** Browning High-Power Safari Grade Short Action, .222 Remington, 24" barrel, 7 lbs. 11 oz., 13 5/8" LOP over the factory butt plate, Sako barreled action with two position slide safety, bottom floorplate and trigger guard with scroll engraving, raised comb cheekpiece, swivel studs. Excellent condition with a few minor handling marks. Comes with a full length Browning hard case which is very uncommon and a one piece scope base installed. Between 1963 and 1974, Browning offered these short action caliber rifles. They used Sako short action barreled actions made in Finloand and were stocked in Belgium at FN. They are more uncommon than the standard action caliber rifles. Circa 1964.
