Original untouched Springfield Model of 1903 Mark I issued to the New York National Guard. The serial number of this example is 1069729 placing date of manufacture in 1919. Overall condition is excellent with 99% of the original untouched factory finish. The bore is excellent and gauges T.E.- 1 and M.- 1. Top of butt stock marked 1.B.N.Y. (New York State Militia, 1st Battalion). Original early Leather 1917 Sling remains with this rifle. Way above average Mark I!!
