German model 1871 11mm carbine. Made in 1876 by Oesterr arsenal (Steyr). Serial numbers are matching. Bore is near excellent. Buttplate is unit marked, with a line thru it, “11.11.5.102”. Most likely a Hussar regiment. Stock has a name lightly etched in it by the buttplate. Very good overall condition. An interesting ’71 carbine.
