Up for sale today is a US Springfield M1 Garand serial no. 3125642 (1944 production) chambered in caliber .308 Winchester. This excellent Garand has been converted to .308 Winchester by means of rebarreling, and a general overhaul by Mike Orwin of Hummelstown, PA. The barrel has a mint bore, a throat erosion reading of 1.75 and a muzzle wear reading of 1.75. An outstanding shooter, ready to provide years of service at home or on the firing line.
