BELGIAN Antique “EUREKA BULL DOG” Revolver
Made in the Late 19th Century in Liege
Here we present an antique Belgian “British Bull-Dog” Revolver, made circa 1890 in Liege, Belgium. The revolver was a small, well-built, self-defense weapon, ideal for potent conceal and carry in the closing decades of the tumultuous 19th Century.
This revolver features a double/single action trigger and six shots of .44 Bull Dog. The top strap is marked “EUREKA/BULL DOG”. The right side of the frame is marked “L&T” for Lambin & Theate. The cylinder also bears proof marks from Liege.
The overall condition is good. 70% of the original nickel finish remain. The markings are clear and legible. The grips are in good condition. The bore is dark with sharp rifling. The action on this revolver is excellent.
