#0948 Horstman & Sons, Philadelphia Model 1860 non-Commissioned Officers sword, standard military issued sword with the solid brass handle. As sometimes encountered, this one has had one of the two hand guard sides bent down which made this sword much easier when carried in post-Civil War parades and similar situations. This sword is missing its leather sheathb and the blade does have some minor mottled staining, but with the forementioned guard, these are the only deficits to this otherwise very collectable Civil War edged weapon.
