Marlin-Ballard #2 Sporting Rifle in .38 Long caliber. SN #7504. 28" octagon barrel. LOP 13 1/4". Good to very good bore for age. Frosted with some pitting and strong rifling. Wood is very good for age. Metal is good with usual handling marks and dings. Straight Walnut stock and forend with Schnabel. Target front sight. Rocky Mountain style tang peep sight. Steel crescent buttplate. #2 on face of receiver under the forend.
