BELGIAN Revolver Converted to Blank Firing
.22 Rimfire Blank
Here we present a Small Belgian Revolver in .22 Rimfire, made Circa the early 20th Century in Liege. This ubiquitous little revolver would have been made for defensive carry in a pocket. It features a double action mechanism and 8-round cylinder. At some point, this revolver’s barrel was plugged and a vent cut into the top of the barrel just ahead of the frame so that it could be used for firing blank cartridges. It may have been used to start races or other such tasks.
The overall condition is fair. The metal surfaces are dark with age with spots of oxidation. The grips are in good shape. The bore is plugged. The action is functioning.
