Description:
This Vintage belt is marked Brauer Bros. Mfg. Co. St. Louis and shows the .45 Colt caliber stamp. An interesting old belt constructed from heavy oiled harness leather. The belt has 30 cartridge loops that accommodate .45 Colt or similar size revolver or rifle bullets.The belt is 2” wide x 42" long with buckle. The buckle is interesting because it does not have the tong that would normally pass through a hole in the belt to hold it. Instead it has a narrow friction buckle that holds the belt without it. The cartridge loops are sewn on and all the stitching is strong and secure. The original buckle is nickel plated steel and shows all its tarnished nickel finish. The leather is supple with no damage and is ready to use. This belt would be perfect with with a vintage holster and you .45 Colt. Bullets shown are not included.
