British 3-Band Enfield Musket Snider conversation .577 caliber rifle. Lock is dated 1875 and is BSA make. Tang of trigger guard has Indian markings on the lower tang. Exterior of the rifle shows a lot of use while the bore is excellent! Tail of lock marked “Crown GP”. Action works perfectly. This rifle shows a great deal of use and saw a lot of action and actually has a charm to it! Break out the Scotch and have hours of conversation. Anyone who can tell us what the hieroglyphics on the tang say please let us know!
