The Colt Paterson is a revolver. It was the "first commercial repeating firearm" employing a revolving cylinder with multiple chambers aligned with a single, stationary barrel. Its design was patented by Samuel Colt on February 25, 1836.
A handsome old unknown copy of a Colt Paterson Percussion Revolver in .36 caliber, has a 9 inch octagon barrel and a bright patina finish... This well-worn old antique has dents and dings, would make a great addition at a fraction of the cost of an original -- and displays extremely well.
