Smith & Wesson New Mod. No.3 Factory Letter Confirms the Four Inch Barrel... shipped Jan. 12, 1899. Previously Owned, caliber .44 S&W Russian, serial number 30459 is in Excellent Mechanical condition, the early reblue is in fine condition. This barrel length is significantly less common than any of the other short barrel configurations, making it extremely hard to find an original. A very good example and about as affordable as you are going to find. (antique)
