Description:
This first generation Colt Frontier Six Shooter was manufactured in 1899. The condition shows patina throughout the firearm as seen on many extensively used Colt SAAs. The bore is good with strong rifiling and lock-up on the firearm is tight. The grips are first generation style replacements and the barrel has been shortened to 4 5/8" in length. The serial numbers match on all pieces of the firearm except the grip strap. Included with this firearm is a custom manufactured holster and gun belt by R.M. Bachman in Florence, MT.
