We normally ship USPS Priority Mail which should be 2-day ship. Shipping is actual cost with a minimum of $30.00 for pistols and $50.00 for rifles/shotguns to ship to most of the 48 contiguous states. Shipping to Alaska may require an extra fee. Description:
The Lone Eagle was introduced to the market in 1991 and was produced until 2001. Its primary purpose was to be used in bench rest competition. It was originally produced in a black finish, but a chrome finish was introduced in 1997. The Lone Eagle uses a circular rear breech action to retain the cartridge in the chamber. The barrel is 14-inches long. The Eagle uses a black synthetic Valox ambidextrous pistol grip. Cocking the pistol is performed by pulling a lever in the left side of the grip outward. The pistol is of course equipped with a safety. The example shown here is chambered for the common .308 Winchester round. The rear sight is adjustable, and the fixed front sight has a reverse slant similar to those present on the Colt Woodsman pistol. This design allows the front sight to be more visible in low-light conditions. The pistol comes in good condition. The bore is a little dirty, but no rust or pitting is present. There is some sort of clear substance covering parts of the grip and the barrel near the scope mounts. An earlier owner may have spilled a type of lock-tight on the pistol at some point. Oil or a light heat source should remove it, though it does not appear to be causing any harm or damage to the Lone Eagle. If you plan on using a scope, tall rings are recommended to clear the rear sight. This pistol comes with a nice leather holster made by Gould and Goodrich. It has the nice feature of a cutout that allows the pistol to go in the holster even when a scope is mounted.
