Unfired, new in box Python with minor handling marks. Engraved on the ejection shroud "John Benjamin Gillespie 1899-1973 and Michael Allison McKean on the opposite side. John Gillespie was a lifelong policeman and Chief of Detectives of the formerly wide open pirt city of Aberdeen, Washington. Michael McKean is his grandson and former Assistant Attorney General, sawmill owner and nationwide housing builder. The firearm was purchased circa 1985 through Eelchers Gun Shop, Tacoma, Wa.
