Description:
This pistol was produced between 1898 To 1907. The pistol's serial number is 194442. It has the 3 1/4 inch barrel. It was refinished in 12-1977 by Smith & Wesson. It has the star stamp on the cylinder face near the serial number. Under the grips is a factory stamp with a R N Inside a box. The "R" stands for refinish the "N" stands for nickle finish. The 12-77 is the date of the work. That is also under the grips. The pistol is matched serial numbers, this includes the grips. The pistol has not been fired since the refinish. The factory plating is stunning with high polish surface. The bore and cylinders are in near new condition with no pitting or frosting before the refinish. Refinished pistols that are done by the original factory that produced the firearm do not take a real "hit" in value like those firearms that are redone by outside parties. This is a very nice collectable Smith & Wesson that looks fantastic in it's condition! Search for hlvfineguns on google for more details.
