Merkel 147SL 12GA Game with 28" fixed choke (Cyl/Mod) barrels, swamped checkered rib. Sidelock action with cocking indicators and deeply engraved game scenes. Double triggers. Barrels show minor bluing wear, some handling marks. Factory pistol grip stock with shadowline cheek rest, splinter forearm; factory sling swivels. Wood shows finish wear, handling marks and damage near toe-line/factory buttplate. Manufactured in East Germany, 1967 manufacture, imported from Japan by previous owner. Does not include case. Mechanically in excellent condition despite cosmetic issues. Shows use, but well cared for and maintained. This gun is on consignment and is ineligible for trade-in.
