NO SALES TO CALIFORNIA Description: L42A1 Enfield Snipe riffle in 308 Nato with wood crate and accessories. Converted to 308 Nato in 1971 from a 1945 manufacture #4 Mark 1 T Snipe Riffle. The conversion included a hammer forged barrel (bore is as new) and the bolt handle, bolt face and receiver were proofed to 19T. There are less than 500 of these riffles in existence (the others were destroyed). This is the riffle that was used by England in the Falkland Islands and in Ireland. Included is the correct L1A1 Scope (Excellent) rebuilt in England. Everything is numbered correctly except the butt stock - number is supose to match the scope but does not..
