Description:
A pair for the Winchester collector, this is a matched set of the Theodore Roosevelt 150th Anniversary Commemorative Winchester 1895's.Featured at the 2008 SHOT Show; this pair is one of the matched sets manufactured to celebrate the 100th anniversary of President Theodore "Teddy" Roosevelt's 1909 African Safari. Both these rifles are reproductions of the winchester model 1895's in .405 Winchester he took on the adventure.Both rifles feature a deluxe high grade walnut stock with diamond pattern checkering and the buttstocks have a commemorative medallion. The sides of the receivers on both rifles feature extensive engraving with gold inlay feauturing North African big game scenes.Sadly the boxes these originally shipped from Winchester are no longer present.These rifles will only be sold as a pair and include their double rifle carry case.
