Guns by Sally-always the best for less. We are rightfully proud to offer this dandy example of Marlin's model of 1894, decked out with multiple special order features. Made in the year of our Lord 1904, she is in good condition for being 115 years old. No safe queen, there are some light handling marks, perhaps from keeping the coyotes away from the stock. The pistol grip checkered stock is all there, the half octagonal, half round barrel has original blue drifting to patina, and even the bore would rate about a 7 out of 10, with sharp rifling. All the features of this special rifle are verified by the fine folks at the Cody Museum. She takes down in about ten seconds, and locks up tight just as fast. The half magazine slips forward to allow takedown, and a pinch and pull is all it takes. She is chambered in 25-20, which was the smallest centerfire of the era. The top of the receiver is drilled and tapped for Marlin's own Hepburn receiver sight. The stampings are all very good, indicating the care this rifle received. The value of special order Marlins has been climbing steadily. When you realize that only about 400,000 of all model rifles were made, it is easy to see why they are so sought after. Compare that to over 6 million Winchester model 1894's alone, and you understand the value of a Marlin with 5 special order features. If you have been looking for the right Marlin 1894 to collect or for investment, but want the clout of a special order gun, then look no further.
