Description:
Up for your consideration is a beautiful Anschutz Modell 54 Super Match. This rifle was manufactured in West Germany in the mid 1980's. Featuring a 27.5" heavy bbl. This rifle was used in rimfire competition by a pro shooter in the 1980's and 1990's. Weighing in at over 9lbs this rifle has every fixture a shooter would need. The walnut stock has great checkering with a thumbhole and cheekrest. The underarm hook is fully adjustable and the stock can be rotated and adjusted to the shooter. The trigger is set to about 1.2oz and has an amazing feel to it. All of the blue finish on this gun is flawless and deep. Giving a mirror like shine. The bolt and receiver are both in mint condition and perfect working order. The rifling on this gun is excellent, by no means is it unfired but being a .22lr it has very little use and very bright and shiny bore with deep good rifling. The gun has a 1-25 Weaver scope on it but does come with the peep sights to compete in matches. The palm rest, offhand rest, and stock hook are all in great condition with no damage and fully adjustable. The wood on the gun is an oil finish and in very nice condition with only a few minor dings and one very small crack near the bottom right of the buttstock. Overall it has been well maintained and taken care of over the years and is sure to make any shooter happy and deadly accurate. Also comes with forward palm swell and small bipod as well.
