Manhattan Firearms “Series V” .36 Caliber Percussion Revolver, a.k.a. “Navy Type”, 6 ½” bbl., 6 shot, serial number 5,XXX circa 1867-68. Features 2 line barrel address, “MANHATTAN ARMS CO. NEWARK N.J./PATENTED MARCH 8, 1864”. All matching serial numbers except for wedge. Overall in very good condition showing a smooth dark gray patina throughout with traces of original finish & about 70%+ cylinder scene. Walnut grips are in very good condition & are a good fit with minor handling marks. Action is very good with correct timing & bore is good with some pitting. Wedge screw is broken. Nice example of a Manhattan .36 “Series V”.
