Here's one for the discriminating collector. An LC Smith 20 gauge featherweight Ideal grade with ejectors. Just restored to like new condition with bone charcoal case colors, rust blued barrels, hot blued furniture, and hand rubbed oil stocks. Invisibly inletted and glass bedded behind locks to resist cracking. 26" uncut barrels wear the high flat filed rib with two new mammoth ivory sighting beads. Choked IC/ Mod, original 2 5/8" chambers suitable for shooting either 2 1/2" or 2 3/4" shells (I like RST 2 1/2" ammo in vintage doubles), bores are shiny, lock up is tight like new, top lever rests right of center, original 14" LOP over original buttplate, automatic safety, modern 1 1/2" DAC, London steel barrels, weight is 6 lbs 7 ozs, all matching serials, screw slots are excellent, engraving and markings are all crisp...WOW! What more can one say? These opportunities do not come along very often to say the least. I will let the photos taken in natural light tell the rest of the story.
