Collector investment grade Browning Tolex Gun Case for A5 or Auto 5 - 2 barrel case. A complete and thorough description and packing list is shown down below. Browning introduced the Tolex case in 1955 and was offered to customers through the year 1959. In 1960, the Hartmann case was introduced by Browning; however, both Tolex and Hartmann cases were sold in 1960. Both Tolex and Hartmann cases are referred to as "Model A" in the sales literature. The Tolex Case exterior is tangerine color with dark blue velvet interior. The Browning Tolex Case sales literature describes the case as:
"Lifetime Luggage Case for all Browning Shotguns. Solid plywood frame. Browning Tolex leathercloth cover. Top grade cowhide binding. Stop hinges. Soft low-pile plush interior. Statuary bronze hardware with lock and key. The tough waterproof, fireproof exterior resists scuffing, perspiration, oil, gasoline, alcohol, caustics, acids, and yet is easily cleaned with soap and water. Separate cases are made for Browning Automatic-5, Double Automatic and Superposed shotguns - all models with barrels of 30 inches or less. The luggage cases for Automatics have a compartment for an extra barrel."

PAYMENT AND CONDITIONS OF SALE:
Payment is by United States Postal Money Order and/or Bank Cashiers Check from a United States bank and/or gold bullion (U.S. Gov't Issued or Canadian Maple Leaf). Item ships 5 business days after the date full payment is received. Seller is not an FFL (Federal Firearms License) Dealer. Seller is a Private Seller. Seller's firearms are to be transferred to FFL Dealers only. Seller will only ship to Buyer who uses an FFL Dealer. The Buyer is responsible for locating the FFL Dealer to facilitate the firearm transfer. Receiving FFL Dealer fees are the responsibility of the Buyer. Seller will not ship to a C&R License. Buyer will need to request receiving FFL Dealer to email their FFL to Seller to initiate shipment. Once payment and a copy of the Federal Firearms License corresponding to the receiving FFL Dealer, in Buyer's area of choice, is received by Seller and the 5 business day payment window has expired; Seller will then ship firearm to Buyer's receiving FFL Dealer. Buyer would then arrange pick-up at the receiving FFL Dealer and complete the firearm inspection and paperwork at the receiving FFL Dealer location. Sales to California and other regulated states. Buyer is responsible to make sure, beyond reasonable doubt, that any item Buyer purchases is legal to own and possess in Buyer's state.
SHIPPING:
Shipping costs/fees/insurance are included in the price shown for the firearm for destinations to the lower 48 States. Alaska and Hawaii may incur additional costs/fees/insurance and would be communicated to Buyer before finalizing the transaction. All packages are sent via the United States Postal Service. Seller prefers shipping at the beginning of the week to avoid firearms in transit over weekends. Seller will package all shipments carefully and buy insurance for the full purchase price, rounded up to the next $100, and provide tracking numbers for all packaged shipments. In the unlikely event that damage occurs, it is important that you save all packaging material for the claims process.
RETURN POLICY AND SHIPPING DAMAGE:
Seller offers the following return policy - a three (3) day window to complete a reasonable inspection. The inspection three (3) day window period begins on the date of delivery to the receiving FFL Dealer. Please inspect your firearm following these conditions.
A.) Inspection must be done on the premises of the receiving FFL Dealer, only.
B.) Do not remove the firearm from receiving FFL Dealer before inspection is completed and firearm is accepted.
C.) Notification of a return must occur within three (3) days of receipt at Buyer's receiving FFL Dealer. Upon return of the firearm in the same purchased condition with all parts and accessories, as received; purchase price will be refunded less shipping/handling/insurance costs. Firearm cannot be fired or dissembled before returning to Seller. Shipping, convenience and FFL Dealer fees are not refundable and are the responsibility of the Buyer. If the firearm is damaged during shipment. First, please take photos of the shipping box/carton prior to opening. Second, proceed to opening the the shipping box/carton. Third. please take photos of the damages to firearm, parts, and/or accessories. Fourth, email notice of damages to Seller with attached photos to BrowningFNHgmail and call 612-859-3347. If the firearm is damaged during shipment and does not match the description in the advertisement listing or Buyer is otherwise dissatisfied, Buyer is not to complete the transfer with the receiving FFL Dealer. Notify Seller immediately at 612-859-3347. Arrangements will be discussed and original packaging will need to be retained for determining next steps in the return and refund process.

Buyer shall check with Buyers receiving FFL Dealer regarding age requirements in Buyer's State. *Upon purchase, Buyer assumes all liability and responsibility including but not limited to the usage and safe storage of the purchased firearm. *Buyer shall know their Local and State laws that can influence, or impact, this buy/sell transaction. *Seller will not ship firearms and/or firearms parts out of the 50 United States.
GOAL:
Seller's goal is rather not to be the best, but to perform my best. A Buyer's satisfaction is important to me. If Buyer has read all the above, Buyer shall reasonably understand that Seller has taken time and consideration to explain how most transaction processes are to be handled and managed. Seller understands there can be exceptions and those will be treated as such. However, most will agree it is easier for a Buyer and Seller to transact business when the responsibility and accountability are explained at the front-end versus trying to determine somewhere in the middle of a transaction, or after the fact. Measurements: With the case resting upright on its 4 brass legs/nubs - the case Exterior is 10 inches in height, 34 & 1/2 inches in width and 4 inches in depth (Factory - Approximate)
Weight: 9lbs 1.5oz (Factory - Approximate)
Exterior Condition: EXCELLENT - Few scratches and rubs (see photos). Exterior - lid - mar located at bottom of case when set on the brass floor legs/nubs, has a mar in the leathercloth case covering that exposes the surface of the lid wood. This mar can be seen in picture number 8. It is just over 1/2 inch by 1/4 inch. I used tape measures in the picture to identify the mar.
Interior Condition: PERFECT / PRISTINE
Other: There are 5 small blue velvet Interior blocks that are used to shim or wedge in the packing of the firearm to prevent movement of barrel(s) and receiver.
