LC Smith Grade 2 with 10 GA Magnum Armaf (Belgium) Steel Barrels

This LC Smith sidelock made in 1895 was rebarreled sometime during the 50’s or 60’s with fluid steel barrels made in Armuf of Belgium. The photo shows the proof marks for 10 gauge 3 & ½” magnum. The proofs are visible in the photos as the 10-89 in a circle, meaning 10 gauge, 89mm.
Armaf did a great job with the rebarreling. This gun balances on the hinge pin and swings like a dream, despite its 11 lb 4 oz weight. This gun is definately not common.
