Description:

   ***   SOLD   ***   Handsome and solid Greener pigeon gun with interesting and rare wide pigeon rib. Gun no. 54911 was made in 1907 and is in excellent mechanical and cosmetic condition.   ***   The frame has vivid case coloring and comes with double triggers, the signature Greener side safety, and Greener cross bolt. Overall weight is 7lb even.   ***   The 30” nitro steel barrels are proofed for 1-1/4 oz loads and chambered for 2-1/2” cartridges. They have extractors and are topped by a very wide pigeon rib that sits flush with the top of the barrel tubes. The rib is inscribed “W. W. Greener, Birmingham”. The right barrel is bored 0.730 and has a constriction of 0.033 for Full choke. Minimum wall thickness is 0.032. The left barrel is also bored 0.730 with a constriction of 0.033 for full choke. Minimum wall thickness is 0.029.   ***   The straight grip stock and splinter forearm are made from sturdy straight grained European walnut. The forearm has a Deeley latch and an ebony forearm tip. Stock dimensions are 14-7/8” over a ½” rubber recoil pad by 1-3/8” by 1-7/8”. Cast off for the righthanded shooter.   ***   This is a great gun for clays or flyers. A handsome gun with great handling characteristics. The price is easy to handle as well.  ***   Buyer is responsible for all shipping, insurance, and any other related charges.
