Mauser P-08, Cal. 9mm, Ser. .8933 k, Really quite scare with great condition.
First , we will talk about the scarcity. Most are not aware that all Lugers since their inception in the very early 1900s had the trigger, safety lever, mag release and the take down lever finished in what is referred to as "straw". This continued in all variations until the first day of February 1937. Therefore any pistol dated 1937 with straw were made only for one month, they were never made afterward.. This one is such a Luger.
The condition is outstanding. The original factory finish is about 98-99%. The only loss is from some very slight sharp edge silvering, a little muzzle wear and some unusually slight side plate wear from a holster. There are no rust spots, pits, rub marks or scratches anywhere. The grip straps show no sign of graying. All parts match except the mag. The checkered wooden grips are are perfect. No splits chips or missing parts The grip screws have no damage. The bore like the rest of the gun is outstanding, mirror bright with razor sharp rifling. Possibly the the tiniest bit of scattered frost. It comes with one correct aluminum based silver body magazine.
The is easily a collection centerpiece and should be a real joy at the range. Well below market at... $1995.
