Inv. 7017 Mossberg Brownie. Cal. .22 LR, Ser. 148XX. WOW!!!!, can not you believe it.
I just bought an "Bedside Queen" Brownie that was bought in the 1920s and never left somebody's night table. The gun is mid-production years and honestly looks un-fired. It would rate factory new if it were not a couple of very faint rub surface rub marks marks. Conservatively the gun has 99.99% of the original factory blue. The tiny bit if loss there is, is due to just very slight sharp edge silvering. The grip straps not grayed. The walnut striated grips appear to be pristine, not a chip, split or a dent anywhere. The bores are minty, factory new and look as if they never saw a bullet thru them. This was the very first gun made by the O.F. Mossberg.
The same company that is an American firearms icon. What a find for historical or curio collector and modestly priced at ....SHIPPED... $575.
