More photographs are available upon request. Original Colt Paterson Second Model Ring Lever Rifle, this rifle is one of the great rarities in Colt collecting. These early Colt Paterson's arent often found and are normally locked up in large collections. This example exhibits wood that has been refinished some time ago, there is a small little pin like repair in the wrist but that does not affect the stablitly of the stock. The cylinder has a very faint scene visiblle in a few small parts. Mechanically the ring lever rotates the cylinder properly. The barrel address is clean and correct. The barrel exhibits a nice brown patina finish. 32" octagon barrel. Overall this is a very fine and clean example of a incredibly hard to find Colt Paterson Ring Lever Rifle.
