Steyr: A 9.5 x 57 Mannlicher-Schoenauer (.375 Rimless Nitro Express) Mannlicher Schoenauer, It is a Takedown with a 19 3/4"" Carbine barrel with 1 fixed standing sight & 1 folding rear sight, Never drilled or tapped for scope mounts and a scope was never installed, Factory band front ramp, Single trigger, Factory bolt safety, Original sling eyes, Horn grip cap, Cheekpiece, 14 3/4" LOP over the original trap buttplate with a takedown cleaning rod inserted, 6 lbs. 9 oz., This piece remains totally original except 3 initials stamped in the stock back of the grip, The barrel blue is at 96%, The receiver blue is at 97%, The bottom metal remains at 92%, The stock with original finish is at 75% with scattered hunting marks, The checkering remains at 90%, The bore is absolute in excellent plus condition. A very neat Carbine in a very practical & functional cartridge that will be the ultimate trick for dispatching wild hogs using .375 diameter bullets in 270 grains. This piece lived its life being hauled around in a lot of lousy game areas as it hasn't been fired much as the bore is super and the bolt face has 98% blue.
