Description:
Winchester Model 1895 Rifle in .35 WCF & 24 inch barrel. Serial number is 53571 made circa 1905. This fine Winchester is all original with much of its original receiver blue. There is some honest blue wear at the carry point and receiver sides but no rust, pits or other major flaws. The barrel blue is also excellent and just slightly faded here and there. There is NO touch up or refinishing done to this one. The bore is excellent and all the mechanics work as they should. The original open sights are present as well as the desirable "Climin' Lyman" #21 sight which is properly coded WR on its inside. The stock and fore end are both original and in great shape. Never had any type of sling swivels installed. The Receiver lettering and barrel address are sharp and clear. Overall this is a very nice original 1895 in .35 WCF.
