Comments : Mythical Gargoyle Fantasy Theme engraving by Master Engraver Cécile Flohimont. Cécile studied at the Léon Mignon Armoury School in Liège. Instructed by René Delcour and Philippe Grifnée. At the end of her studies in 1984, Cécile started working at Francotte under the attentive eye and guidance of her mentor Philippe Grifnée. Her illustrious career took her to Holland & Holland. Then from her own studio she works for several English gun makers such as Westley Richards, W.J. Jeffery, William Evans, David Mackay Brown, Rigby and Purdey and in Europe for Lebeau Courally & Hartmann & Weiss. Until 2009, the majority of her work was for Purdey. Since then, private clients have been added to her list. Her work is regarded as some of the best in the world.
