U.S. Army Model 1871 Military Rifle in .50-70 Govt. Mfg. in 1871-1872. 36" barrel. 13" LOP. Mfg. by Springfield Armory under license from Remington. Rolling Block Action. Re-blued at some time in past. Excellent bore with strong rifling. Wood is good for it's age. Most of the markings have been ground off receiver and barrel. This is an antique and requires no FFL to purchase.
