Beautiful Factory Engraved Near Mint Colt 1849 Pocket with Sam Colt Presentation. Made in 1855. Absolutely gorgeous gun in excellent condition. The gun shows no wear, but there are spots of light flaking on the right had side of the barrel, the left hand side of barrel is mint. Cylinder scene is perfect and there is most of the blue on the cylinder. Case colors are stunning. Grips are excellent burled walnut. Back strap and trigger guard are silver plated. Back strap is marked “Wm. F. Odell/from the inventor” which means this is a Samuel Colt presentation. The engraving is gorgeous. This presentation Colt comes in a French fitted deluxe case and brass bound corners. Flask and mold are excellent as well. Top notch Sam Colt presentation factory engraved Colt 1849 Pocket! Worthy of the very best collection!
