Larry Baer bought a Grulla Royal Barreled Action in the white in 1999. Mr. Baer custom engraved the gun in Holland & holland game scene style with deep carved fences. Mr. Baer stocked the gun with extraordinary wood then checkered and finished it to perfection! SN 28718 .28Ga. 26 3/4" Barrels, 2 3/4" chambers, Chokes: Mod/Imp. Mod. Full length game rib with synthetic ivory front bead, double triggers with front trigger articulated, Automatic ejectors, non-auto safety, Straight grip stock checkered in2-pt pattern with tear drop behind lockplate. Splinter forearm with Curtis push button release checkered in 3-pt pattern. Lockplates are beautifully engraved by Larry Baer with spaniel leaping for quail surrounded by scroll on left and large pointer flushingquail on right, surrounded by scroll and bead work. Bottom of frame with flying quail and scroll on trigger plate. Trigger guard and top lever are nicely scroll and floral engraved. Fences are deeply chiseled in floral pattern. Weight: 5 lbs. 11oz. Exl. condition, 98% original finish, Small chip on forearm on right side at muzzel end. Mechanics are crisp. Case is very good.
