Description: General Specs: Parker, Year 1929, 12 Gauge, 7lbs, Chokes IM/F, LOP 14 3/16", DAH 2 5/8", DAC 1 11/16" Serial Number: 233356 Parker shotguns get interesting in the DH Grade, with nice game scene engraving, figured wood, elaborate checkering, and skeleton butt plate as standard. They made a lot of them, about 6300 with Titanic Steel barrels, so they are not hard to find. What is hard to find is a Parker DHE ejector gun that hasn’t been altered since it was shipped and still has lots of original condition. Look at all Parker DHE guns for sale today on the internet and you will see guns with pads, short stocks, buggered up screws, cut barrels, rust and pits, etc. It is hard to find these guns with the original skeleton buttplate, let alone with 80% factory case color and 98% factory barrel blue. This Parker DHE, sn233356 built in 1929, is a well-cared for Parker with excellent mechanics and ready to go for your trips afield or to the club for some clay target games. The ejectors are strong and well-timed. The 28” IM/F choked Titanic Steel barrels are tight on the breech face and hinge pin like a new gun, and the top lever is well right of center. The bores are perfect mirror bright and the ribs are tight. Look at the screws, the checkering, the wood-to-metal fit and you will see a solid, untouched Parker that is a true lightweight amongst the 12ga Parker guns. Built on the 1 ½ frame and weighing just 7lbs. it is a gun that you won’t mind carrying all day after pheasants, sharptails, huns, chukar, or the awesome waterfowl outings and turkey hunts. The nice thing about owning a Parker like this, a Parker with evidence of careful field use, is you can hunt it without worrying about a little honest wear while you enjoy carrying a fine Parker afield. Yet, it is a graded Parker with beautiful game scene and scroll engraving, skeleton butt plate, and fully functional for all your shotgun needs. This is a Parker that you can be proud of when comparing guns with your shooting pals. Care for the gun well and it will cost you not a dime to own, as it is priced so that you can use it and sell it for more than you paid years later. That is the way to own a fine Parker! If you want the gun to be cased in one of our custom-fitted cases with Parker label and all accessories, just ask and we can add a nice case to protect, transport, and show off your new Parker.
