U.S.A.: A 12 Bore Super "HE" Grade with Original 3" Chambers & so Marked, Made in 1925, 30" Ejector Chromox Fluid Compressed Steel Barrels at .736" .047 & .048" (Full & Full), 3" original chambers, Double triggers, Splinter forend, Pistol grip stock at 13 15/16 x 1 13/16 x 2 13/16" over a 7/8" Jostam pad, 8 lbs. 10 oz., Border engraving of typical "H" Grade engraving that remains sharp, The barrels have 88-90% original factory blue, It retains 35% original case colors, The butt and forend have been very well re-oiled and it now remains at 99%, The checkering is at 99%, The bores are excellent, bright and shiny without any pits or dings, The breech face retains 85% case colors, The trigger guard & tang retain 85% original blue, It remains tight on the face, This is an honest Super HE Grade Fox from a classic era of Americana.

The Super-Fox was developed in 1922; Philadelphia gunsmith, Burt Becker was there from the beginning. Charles Askins eventually headed to Philadelphia to work with Becker at the Fox factory in developing the Super-Fox with John Olin receiving the first factory-built Super Fox at the end of 1922. Nash Buckingham had his own Super-Fox, nicknamed Bo-Whoop. Becker designed them with close tolerances and extra features to insure the best shooting performance. Fox marketed the Super Fox with a guaranteed full-choke pattern of 80%, the Super Fox became a specialized gun for the serious hunter. Fox only made about 300 in the Super Fox Grade over a 20-year period.
