For sale is this classic and awesome Holland & Holland .375 H&H Takedown Mauser Bolt Action Rifle. This barrel of this rifle is taken off the stock with a single screw, thus it's a takedown model. Barrel states: “Holland & Holland 98 New Bond Street, London”, “Holland’s .375 “Magnum””, .375 2.85 19 TONS”. This rifle has a straight walnut stock with beautiful grain and sharp checkering. The stock features a right-handed cheek piece, case colored grip cap compartment with sights, magnum cross-bolt, blank oval escutcheon, rear sling swivel provision, horn butt spacer, and red rubber butt-pad. The barrel features barrel band swivel base, express island rear sight with one fixed and one folding leaf sight, ramp front sight with flip up hood. Mauser 98 3-position safety. The LOP is 14.25”, the Barrel Length is 25”, the Overall Length is 45.75”. The action is extremely smooth, the bore is excellent. There is some fading of the bluing on the upper half of the barrel. There is an import mark on the barrel. The magazine holds 4 Cartridges. The action has bases designed for German Claw Mounts. The rifle is in overall 96%+ condition.
