Here is a very nice old 1881 Marlin in good shooting shape. I have shot this rifle and it is very accurate. Bore is fine or better- no pitting- see photo. Action works perfectly. At one time it miust have had a sling mounted as there are two minimal holes, one in the buttstock and one in the foreend cap. Forend is slightly loose which would be an easy fix for the new owner. Only 20000 of these were made and production stopped 130 years ago so one in good shape is a find. As an antique it can be shipped directly to you. Layaway available. $50 shipping and insurance by priority mail.
