Description:
Colt manufactured 3,001 of these Peacemakers in 1972 to honor the Arizona Rangers law enforcement agency. It is an all steel revolver fitted with ca 5 1/2 inch barrel, a case hardened frame, has blue finished barrel and cylinders, and nickel plated trigger, hammer, and trigger guard/back-strap. It is complete with both the fluted .22 LR cylinder and the unfluted .22 magnum cylinder. It also comes in a French fitted walnut case with a reproduction Arizona Ranger badge. The revolver and magnum cylinder are in excellent unfired condition but the unfired .22 LR cylinder has some corrosion spotting, due to poor storage (see picture). The case has sustained damage as the glass top has been broke out of it, otherwise the case is in very good condition. Sorry, no paper-work. Would make a great "Colt' plinker Single Action .22.
