Description:
Colt "Super .38 Automatic" semi automatic pistol chambered in .38 Super, dated to 1948. This pistol is a 2nd Model, with the rampant colt pictured on the right side of the slide and a heavier barrel than the pre-war model. The pistol features a 1911-style operation and design, with fixed sights and a curved mainspring housing. Brown plastic checkered grip panels are installed. The pistol is in excellent working order with a smooth action, excellent trigger, and great bore. The finish has some small issues in the areas shown, including small areas of past surface rust, finish loss/speckling/wear, and shallow pits in the surface. However, the function of the pistol is unaffected by these small blemishes. This is a must-have for any Colt enthusiast or collector! One magazine is included. Please refer to the photos to further assess the condition of the pistol. No handgun sales in MA.
