Description:
Selling a Jarrett Wind Walker in .284 Jarrett. The gun was built in 2015 and is as new with only 35 rounds down the barrel. It comes with 43 rounds of the Jarrett tuned load for the rifle (140gr Nosler Ballistic Tip at 3350 FPS) and 35 pieces of once fired Jarrett brass. The Jarrett test targets ran around 1/3” for 3 shots with this load and I was able to replicate that (the two pictured targets were fired by me). The barrel is 24" to the Jarrett muzzle break, for a total length of 26", 1-10 twist, No. 2 taper. Jarrett Tri Lock action with Shilen trigger. The stock color is Kenoflage. The weight of the rifle is a hair under 7 lbs. Also included is a Zeiss HD5 3-15X50 scope in Talley mounts with custom turrets matched to the Jarrett load. Comes will all paperwork, test targets, and Jarrett sling. This is a fantastic rifle, just way more than I need hunting here in Louisiana. The .284 Jarrett is an impressive round, offering the performance of the 7mm STW with less powder. It is based off of the .300 Win Mag case, with a 35 deg shoulder and straightened case walls.
