Smith & Wesson Model 10-8 fitted with a 4 inch heavy pinned barrel, checkered S&W service grips with S&W medallions, color case-hardened finished hammer and trigger, blue finished, and chambered in .38 Special. The 6-shot revolver is in excellent original condition, retaining 97-98% of its original blue finish, with thinning at the muzzle of the barrel and sharp edges of the frame and cylinder, possibly from holster wear. The grips, which number to the gun, are in good condition, retaining 90% of their original finish, with assorted handling marks, and some chipping of the sharp edges around the checkering. The bore is in excellent condition and the action is tight and locks up tight. Comes with a 10-8 S&W box, but it does not number to the gun.
