We do carry various modern pistols, revolvers and long guns. However, our specialty is vintage firearms including bolt action, lever action and semi automatic rifles. For example, we usually have at least two or three M-1 Garand rifles at any given moment. Other times we may have one or two Springfield 1903 rifles. Also in stock are a few dozen lever action rifles available in different calibers & barrel lengths. Lastly, we have a wide variety of Colt Single Action Army revolvers in different calibers and barrel lengths. (NOTE: we try & remove items from Guns International ASAP if they are sold through our retail location, but there may be a slight delay in doing so) Description: Here is an interesting item, a Smith & Wesson Model 12-2 snub nose 6 shot with a pinned barrel. This is the aluminum frame version of the all steel Model 10. There are some small cosmetic flaws such as a scratch on the right side plate next to the Smith & Wesson logo, some minor bluing loss on the cylinder and ejector rod and a small indentation in the left wood grip. Otherwise, it looks like this handgun was fired very seldom. The forcing cone, both the front and rear of the cylinder, and the breech face show little to no wear. Lock up is tight, barrel grooves look sharp with no pitting. The small cosmetic flaws give this a very good plus rating, but mechanically excellent. Appears to have been manufactured around 1969-1970 according to the serial number. That places it right at the 50 year threshold as a C & R piece. A nice and clean example of this type of firearm. No box, priced accordingly. We reserve the right to sell this item at our retail location until an offer is made on Guns International. Please allow us up to three business days to respond to emails and phone messages, occasionally we get very busy with walk-in traffic and paperwork. If you’re in the Waynesboro, Pa. area, stop on by and check out this item as well as other fine firearms at Herold’s Gun Shoppe. We look forward to meeting you!
