Remington Rand Model 1911 A1; SN1368723; shipped August 1943; this is one of two guns that were presented for consideration to the Mexican Government for Mexican Navy contracts; the top of slide has the Mexican Naval crest with ‘ARMADA de MEXICO’; according to noted 1911 authority Bill Berry of Waco, Texas per his conversation with the late Charles W.
