Description:
Serial #5164q, 9mm Para., 4" barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is an undated pistol with a “DWM" marked toggle, sear safety, and all-matching numbers that retains 95-97% of the original blue finish with some mild silvering at the muzzle, along the high edges and projections, and on the bearing surfaces of the toggle and bolt. Additionally, there is a very small and unobtrusive import mark along the underside of the barrel, and about 70-75% of the original straw color on the smaller parts. The checkered wooden grips are numbered to the gun on the interior and have light wear throughout with flattening of the points on either side, mainly around the butt. The left panel has a single very small chip missing just above the magazine release, and a single matching numbered magazine is included; the magazine is #2 with “(eagle)L" Polizei proof. This is a fine-near excellent example of a late 30's pre-war Luger. FFL or C&R
