Description:
SHARPS New Model 1863 Carbine, Meachams Conversion, 45-70. SN #12820. This "Old Reliable" has a 28" round Sharps Business Rifle Barrel. Barrel is serial numbered to receiver. LOP 13 3/4". The wood has been recently refinished. The bore is excellent. Originally mfr'd 1863-1865. Double Set Trigger. Crescent buttplate. Mechanically excellent. Only 1604 were made in Bridgeport, Conn.
