C.S. Shattuck, Hatfield, Massachusetts, Pocket Revolver. Manf. in the 1880's . Only a few thousand Manufactured. .32 Caliber Rim Fire. Five shot . Spur Trigger., Nickeled finish. 2.75" Octagon Barrel with a very good bore.
Barrel Marked, "C.S. SHATTUCK HATFIELD, MASS./PAT. NOV.4, 1879". Although in outward appearance a "SUICIDE SPECIAL" . This revolver Has the unique swing-out cylinder and the "RARE" Special Hard Rubber Grips having the high relief portrait on left side of "JAMES A. GARFIELD" and on the right side of,"ABRAHAM LINCOLN". A rather macabre commemoration of their demise. The grips are in Excellent Condition. Almost all of the Nickeled Finish remains, with some flaking. Action is strong. Timing is good and has tight cylinder lock-up. Buyer Pays $20.00 shipping to the lower 48 states.
