Brooklyn  Arms Co., Brooklyn, New York. Slocum Front-Loading Pocket Revolver. Made 1863-1864.    .32 Rim-fire.  5 -shot. 3" round barrel. A Unique design with individual chambers in form of sliding  tubes within cut-outs on the cylinder. Chambers slide forward one at a time over a fixed rod on right side to expose, load and eject. Has a Brass frame silver plated; blued cylinder. Has beautiful Walnut Grips. Barrel marked,"B.A. CO. PATENTED APRIL 14, 1863." Has decorative scroll engraving on barrel and frame.  Action is strong.
