I am told this is a late model Stevens #44 barrel. It will index on late model round barrel 44's only. Outside has a consistent light peppering of pitting. Not deep at all. The bore is shot. This would be a candidate for relining or reworking into another caliber. Outside breech diameter is 1". The outside muzzle diameter is 13/16" OAL is 25 3/4". TPI is 18. No military markings.
